Imagine living in the centre of this vibrant, friendly little town of Plettenberg Bay, jewel of the Garden Route. All you need is here in the town centre, within walking distance of your home!  Main Street is the hub of Plett, bounded at either end by dolphin circles. The hilly landscape lends itself well to the residential area above Main Street, where most properties have stunning views of the warm Indian Ocean.

For convenience, there are supermarkets, clothing and sports outlets as well as owner run shops displaying an array of creative, original wares. Doctors' rooms, pharmacies and a health shop are situated in and around Main Street, which also provides for your service needs: accommodation, petrol station, banks, insurance office and mobile phones, while you are spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants and coffee shops. There are even a couple of clubs. A delightful aspect is the glimpse of the ocean seen between buildings as you stroll along. Being a small community, it is quite usual to meet up with a friend by chance and with Plett's slower pace of life you have no qualms taking your time for a chat and coffee.

Everything is within walking distance, even the glorious beaches below Main Street, where steep, tree lined streets graced with some of Plett's long established homes, lead you to Hobie Beach or Lookout Beach where walking, sunbathing, swimming and surfing give you that holiday feeling all  year round!
